Terms of Service
Welcome to Neurodivergent District! (“Neurodivergent District," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website (www.neurodivergentdistrict.com) (the "Site") as well as a number of related services (collectively, the "Services"). Please carefully read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using our Site or Services.
1) ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
a) By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of these Terms, do not use the Site or Services.
b) Neurodivergent District is a community for promoting platonic and/or romantic connection run by Relationship Coach & Matchmaker Kate Woodward.
2) BECOMING A MEMBER of Neurodivergent District
a) Submitting an application or photos does not guarantee admittance into our community. Not all individuals will qualify for the range of services offered by Neurodivergent District.
b) By signing up for an event, joining the Meetup group, or WhatsApp chat, the Applicant agrees that he/she is at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Those who apply for the services offered by Neurodivergent District are accepted only after Kate Woodward is satisfied that there is a reasonable probability that the service can be effective.
c) By using out side or signing up for an event, you agree to have read this entire document and agree to:
i) not post negative comments on Yelp, Google, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media or publication.
ii) You agree to communicate via USPS and email to resolve any issues or concerns and to keep all communication private.
iii) You agree not to take photos or screenshots of any and all communication between yourself and Kate Woodward, or any of the employees or co-organizers of Neurodivergent District, and keep all communication private. Should you post negative comments on any outlet or social media, Neurodivergent District and Kate Woodward reserve the right to hire an attorney and file a civil suit against you for: defamation of character, slander, libel and voicing untrue statements publicly.
iiii) By joining or inquiring about our services, you automatically grant us permission to subscribe you to Neurodivergent District’s newsletter. To unsubscribe, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the newsletter email.
3) IN-PERSON MEMBER CONDUCT. Members agree to conduct themselves in a respectful manner during Neurodivergent District events, on our website, and in our WhatsApp chat.
4) INDEMNITY BY MEMBER. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Neurodivergent District, our officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) or other expenses that arise directly or indirectly out of or from (i) your breach of this Agreement; (ii) any allegation that any materials that you submit to us or transmit to Neurodivergent District infringe or otherwise violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property or other rights of any third party; and/or (iii) your activities in connection with Neurodivergent District, including individual relationship choices made by Members after introduction is provided through the service. This indemnity shall be applicable without regard to the negligence of any party, including any indemnified person.
5) INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY MEMBER. We will respect your personal information and undertake to comply with all applicable data protection legislation in the US and other jurisdictions in which we offer the Service, subject to the Privacy Policy of United States.
6) INFORMATION SUPPLIED TO MEMBER BY Neurodivergent District. You agree to keep any information presented to you by Neurodivergent District and Kate Woodward confidential, private and for your eyes only. You agree not to disclose any and all information provided to you as confidential and private, never to release that information to anyone, and you can expect we will require the same of anyone else we put you in contact with.
7) **Communication:** Where Neurodivergent District requires that you provide an e-mail address, you are responsible for providing Neurodivergent District with your most current e-mail address. In the event that the last e-mail address you provided to Neurodivergent District is not valid or, for any reason, is not capable of delivering to you any notices required/permitted by the Terms, Neurodivergent District's dispatch of the e-mail containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice. You may give notice to Neurodivergent District at the following address: Neurodivergent District, 1255 Union Market St NE 7th Floor Washington, D.C. 20002, Attention: Legal Department. Such notice shall be deemed given when received by Neurodivergent District by letter delivered by nationally recognized overnight delivery service or first class postage prepaid mail at the above address.
8) **Waiver:** Any waiver or failure to enforce any provision of the Terms on one occasion will not be deemed a waiver of any other provision or of such provision on any other occasion.
9) **Severability:** If any provision of the Terms is, for any reason, held to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions of the Terms will remain enforceable, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10) **Entire Agreement:** The Terms are the final, complete and exclusive agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede and merge all prior discussions between the parties with respect to such subject matter.
